Mile Markers: 2008 BMW M3 Coupe

After only a few months at our Malibu offices, the BMW M3 Coupe already has taken Robb Report staffers on weekend excursions to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Sonoma, Newport Beach, and Salinas.
8,669—"The interior was comfortable and roomy," writes Charles Gawartin. "I fit two golf bags in the trunk with room to spare."

"Six speeds are too many—there is only a 750 rpm difference between fourth and sixth—and with so many gears, it makes for busy driving on twisting roads."
